    y u m i: what are you crafting? grappling hook?
    t u l l y: another cutter. have a look.
    y u m i: to tell the truth, i’m not impressed.
    wait… holy maphr, the cutter’s blessed!
    you’re kidding!
    t u l l y: nope.
    y u m i: no chance!
    t u l l y: why not? i’ve even crafted quite a lot.
    sometimes it’s usual, sometimes – blessed.
    the chance of both we need to test.

    the purpose of this experiment was to find out the chances of getting normal and blessed items through crafting, using recipe: unidentified amaranthine cutter (60%).

    1,714 attempts to craft amaranthine cutter were made in order to get 1,000 amaranthine cutters.

    as a result of 1,000 successful attempts at crafting, the following items were obtained:

    the chances of getting a blessed item as compared to normal:

    [IMG] amaranthine cutter42092%[IMG] blessed amaranthine cutter378%successful crafting of a normal or blessed item457100%
    [IMG]

    we identified the unidentified amaranthine cutters we had crafted and got the following:

    {tr}{tr}{tr}{tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}
    [IMG]unidentified amaranthine cutter543100%[IMG] bound amaranthine cutter51695%[IMG] amaranthine cutter193,5%[IMG] blessed amaranthine cutter81,5%
    account taken of the unidentified amaranthine cutters that we identified, the chances of getting normal/blessed/bound items were the following:

    {tr}{tr}{tr}{tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}
    successful crafting1000100%[IMG]amaranthine cutter43943.9%[IMG]blessed amaranthine cutter454.5%[IMG]bound amaranthine cutter51651.6%
    [IMG]

    after the unidentified items were identified, the chance of getting a normal amaranthine cutter grew by 1.9%, while the chance of getting a blessed amaranthine cutter increased by 0.8%.

    considering the unidentified amaranthine cutters we identified, out of the total number of attempts at crafting we obtained:

    {tbody}{tr}{tr}{tr}{tr}{tr}{tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tbody}
    [IMG]bound amaranthine cutter51630.1%[IMG]amaranthine cutter43925.6%[IMG]blessed amaranthine cutter452.6%crafting fail71441,7%successful crafting1,00058.3%total attempts1714100%
    the results obtained after the items had been identified are also shown in the diagram below:

    [IMG]

    conclusion:

    1. the crafting success rate was 58.3 %, which is comparable with the success rate indicated in the recipe description (60%).

    2. if the crafting is successful, the chance of getting an unidentified item is about 10% higher than that of getting a normal/blessed item.

    3. the chance of getting a blessed item through crafting is 2,6%. thus, considering the fact that the cost of one attempt at crafting is sometimes equal to that of an unidentified item on the market (and in some cases the cost of a normal item), trying to obtain a blessed item through crafting hardly makes any sense.

    dunno what tcetso meant, but probably what i'll ask.

    to be clear, what recipe was used ? :
    recipe: unidentified amaranthine cutter (60%) ? or
    recipe: amaranthine cutter (60%) ?

    never really crafted in god, but getting blessed or standard through unidentified recipe would be new for me, and getting unidentified while using normal recipe would be strange...

    well one would normally assume that because of this:

    it would have been the amaranthine cutter 60% but i am double checking that and requesting that in future they be more clear about the recipe used, i will update as soon as i get confirmation.

    regards.

    well the only thing that can explain getting blessed item from unidentified craft is that there has always been a chance to gain standard or blessed items since goddess of destruction

    and on a "quick" look through later patch notes i didnt see that they removed that particular chance but as i said it was a very "quick" look through xd

    im still waiting for the testing team to get back to me with confirmation though so we will have the answer soon :cool:
