    i dowloaded the stuff that is needed for lindvior but...while i am slmost done with the download, the 2 uax files that should be in the voice folder inside the client are getting deleted and 4game app starts their download again and again and again and again........
    i updated 4game, cleared cookies, deleted completely the files and copied them by my cousin who is done with the download with no issues (i checked my client size after this and it was the same with his), turned off antivirus and firewall alike, restarted my pc, checked with mozzila, chrome and opera nothing worked...looking for assistance.

    the only thing i can suggest at this moment is to wait until maintenance is fully over before updating the client as there may still be some file changes in progress and if the problem still persists then come back and let us know.

    try installing this program (guide here) and check that you dont have any corrupt files.

    looking for the new 1.8 version...this one is outdated

    edit: i found it

    the program found 12 in total corrupted files, 10 were on system and the other 2 are these i mentioned on my first post. they got deleted re-downloaded and the problem still persists...the app is downloading all over these 2 files on voice folder again and again and again and again.

    edit: i am desperate.

    i will try doing it that way too...cross your fingers to work.

    this is what i get when i am trying to download it with the program

    " <---and here is where the download stops...

    yeah i got some stuff deleted...updating the game now wait 2-3 minutes for results

    same...other ideas?????????????????


    edit: deepblue can u pass my situation to your support? i do not see any light in the horizon.

    sorry i was away for a while, gotta eat sometimes ;)

    @darma - i know, i have flagged it already and will flag it again - thats why my first link was for the 1.6.9 version ;)

    @elesmira - have you checked the exceptions on both your av and firewall and the parental controls? i know you said the av is turned off but that doesnt stop it interfering with things so please make sure its got the correct exceptions and settings. you can try turning off your fw and uninstalling the av (for now) and run the download so we can eliminate that as a cause. i will flag your issue also incase we dont find a solution with those those options i gave you now.

    guy here has the same issue https://4gameforum.com/showthread.php?t=16764 and he also uses avg. unless there is somebody else that uses avg and has 0 problems updating, i would say avg is the culprit (unless proved otherwise). masterkill2011 in other thread deleted avg but problem remains. try doing the same, if that doesn't help, use http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities uninstall tool to check for avg leftovers. if that doesn't help try disabling all plugins and addons in your browsers (in chrome type chrome://plugins/ in address bar).

    i uninstalled it guys and turned off firewall and plugins...and again nothing...

    sigh...guess we have to go piece by piece. lets start with your system spec, windows version, uac active or disabled, game installed in program files or separate folder, active processes, background processes, any other security/antimalware/registry cleaner/hard disk optimizer active...
