Talisman abundance and servitors

    in the great wisdom of the guy who developed this item(golden talisman abundance), im pretty sure he ( the developer) forgot to add the kill buff effect when your servitor kills player.

    i get flagged when i atk with pet, i get pvp point or pk point when i kill with pet, i get crp when i kill with pet, why am i not getting the buff when i kill with pet (servitor)?

    "because the servitor doesnt have it equiped", well, this is a flaw and must be corrected.

    pet/servitor game mechanics have been a problem in many other games as well though :)

    for example in the early days of dark age of camelot. when a player was killed in pvp, there was a system message saying something like "player a was killed by player b". but when a pet did the killing blow, it said "player a was killed by pet". now, people were not happy with that and complained about not knowing who they were killed by. mythic then went and changed the game to regard any attack by a pet as an attack by the player controlling the pet. the goal was achieved and the system message now said correctly "player a was killed by player b".

    unfortunately the change had ugly side effects. previously, an attacking pet would rarely interrupt a magic class when casting a spell (spell interruptions were calculated by level of attacker versus level of defender, and pets were of various lower levels than players). but as any pet attack now was regarded as attack by the player, magic classes were henceforth constantly being interrupted by even the lowest level pets.

    i wonder what would happen in l2 if they fixed it. maybe the class specific pet buffs would no longer work, or some other odd side effects like line-of-sight issues or something nobody would even think of :)

    anyway, it should be fixed, a summoner servitor is a part of the class and should not put a summoner at a disadvantage compared to other classes with different combat mechanics.

    well summoners will be forever the biggest screw up on korean mmos, either bugged or unbalanced, too strong, too weak, always with annoyance features to it's user...

    anyways the class it's dead alrdy so no wonder this was overlooked, afterall thse talismans dont even exist on korean iventories, if a company wants to put a localized item/feature, please do it properly.

    take ncsoft aion for example, summoner (spirit master or whatever its called) 1 click to win button aoe fear on 10s, well its basically that strong like a heroic dread in l2

    you might not care about what i post now but i just decided to delete my dual class* wynn 98 due to lack of escape mechanisc, poor open world presence, non burst damage in a game when someone just 3 shot you faster and bsoe or you never kill anyone, zero kiting/gap closer/speed ability, ******ed mechanics that just makes you get a disease when you playing him

    marks are basically a true damage, 2 (instead of 4) pets criticals (decrased hardly by enemy resist critical buffs) and auto attack are not enough to kill anyone.
    upcoming changes allso take servitor royality, a skill that i loved since forever, soon change to 3% chance of proc when you nuke from new skill (old mark of fire no longer enchantable on duel ) aaand no more endless mana, 2 instead of 4 marks
    i can write endless post, but no need. wynn its just a walking sack of s.h.i.t



    imo dual class should be for fun and either if you play support on main like me to get some pvp and open world presence *
