    hi, i am a new player here and i am looking for an experienced tyrr gk to have a conversation about the class,eq,sa,dyes,new tottems.

    i cannot find any info around the net as gk was never a popular choice as a class, do i hope there will be someone that can help here :)

    i played gk on epeisodion pts to try it out and i have to say i was positively surprised.

    from what i can tell +con was the best choice for tatoos because str did almost nothing and dex doesn't help much when you are at capped attack speed anyway. also + crit rate doesn't seem to do much for fists.

    the base dps (auto attack) is higher than titan, the peak dps (auto attack with berzerker and spooled up passives) is equal to the titan peak dps (auto attack with frenzy + spooled up passives).

    on tyrr in general pvp, damage is more reliant on skill damage though and in that department i couldn't do much testing. the base dmg on skills is equal though, since they are 95% the same on tyrrs anyway. but i don't know if frenzy has a much greater impact than berzerker or whatever maybe.

    i also tested the sa combos and found that damage up + haste was the best choice for highest dps (auto attack). this was weird because i expected focus + haste to be better but both focus variants were lower (even damage up + focus). again i don't know how the focus weapons would do in terms of skill damage though and thus in pvp. but i think general tyrr knowledge applies there.

    i think gk is no longer a terrible choice with the current update. i have found that bison is the totem of choice on gk, it puts you at cap attack speed, higher patk than ogre but lower defense. i think it also adds some crit. the new wolf totem does less runspeed than the rabbit totem that all tyrrs get so i'm not sure what its use case really is. with the permanent attack speed toggle you are at cap attack speed with a haste weapon anyway (99, full std enchanter buffs, +15con) so the attack speed on the rabbit totem is useless. but then again i'm certainly no pro at gk.

    i did some casual duels on gk on pts and i destroyed pretty much everything that gets destroyed by other tyrrs as well. i would personally rank it high together with titan and gladiator as top dpsers within the tyrrs.

    with god knows what improvements they will make to fists in general on the next expansion due to the new race being a fist weapon race partially i think it isn't a bad choice to go gk now.

    imo as tyrr isn't a high burst dmg class, it should be considered as more of a crowd control class, so survivability builds should fit the most and weapon with hp is a priority(tauti tops ofc.)

    lisaa,gk cannot be considered cc class because he got exactly the same ccs as all tyrrs do.ok except dn that has 2 more stuns...

    i'm rly confused because i used to play a tyrr on tauti (in private server),and autoattacks were out of the case. since i got awakened here with my gk i lost a couple of dmg skills i had and got the basic set. so that leaves me with the same skill set as the other tyrr minus any extra they keep or get, and what about autoattacks?

    are autoattacks with high attackspeed the case?are autoattacks useless?
    should i try to "dagerize" my tyrr?meaning light armor max str and play like assasin?
    i even thought about dualswords because theoritically i lose some dmg from fist mastery and gain stats that would fit perfeclty, crt rate from +4 duals, health+dmg up as sa... i can see some potential in this class with the new tottems,but i can't rly figure out on what "path" i should build,and ofc as a new player i can't try all my thoughts cause i would need like a fortune and a possible failed attempt would ruin me.

    lisaa is more right than you can imagine, what hachre said applies to pve..not to pvp.

    alls tyrs are mainly cc classes with assisting measures, you wont do amazing dmg unless you're stacked with pvp boosts or stacked with more than 50% reflect dmg.

    auto atks means jack on pvp, and focus obviously doesnt work on skills.

    and dmg up sux, 400 fixed p atk do absolutely nothing on pvp.

    you were playing on tauti and tyrrs back then were beasts, but theyre not anymore these dmg beasts you think of.

    i should propably look for a pvp l2j server to test my thoughts/theories,but still it won't be 100% accurate :<

    what equipment, dyes etc., to use, depends purely on how u like to play.
    there's about three choices:
    be tough almost like a tank but without agro skills, put everything to hp and defense, use heavy armor, and use wolf totem.
    be a killer almost like a dagger, put everything to str , p.atk , with light armor, and use wild roar/ogre totem.
    be a combination of both and mix stats.

    but whichever u choose u will never be as tough as tank, or frag stealer as dagger/archer/mage. mainly majority of tyrrs builds up mixed class, with a little bit of everything.

    if u r going to take tyrr, and don't have friends to make cp, be prepared to play solo or with randoms. no one likes them, even after this epeisodion update. no one want's them in their cp's. it's really hard for tyrr to find cp. there's one hero tyrr maestro in our ally, and no one wants to take this tyrr to cp... ;) as for gk, many who took gk later transformed in to glad or kamael tyrr.
    and generally speaking, tyrrs r not likeable, no one want's them anywhere. why? tyrrs r still quite useless.

    yeah i just hit lvl 85 last night ive never played this god stuff and got the fist at 85 now i dont have enough crit to use wild roar. i am pretty useless een jsut doing k85s and soloing thinking about rerolling iss

    it's just that most don't know how to play a tyrr to begin with. you just told him to stack str to be like almost dagger, and this is utterly impossible and the benefits of str are just ****. all tyrrs go for str and think it's easy class to play, they fail at it and just rerol easier classes like archer/nuker.

    if u want max dmg u go for str.
    and remember "almost" has a big variable.
