hello, as the title says. i never saw a single archer using s weps like rogues/tyrrs doing so i wanted to know if anyone tested the pvp dmg with s bow and if working as good as those classed i said before.

    thanks.

thereâ´s a request made this month to test the dmg diference between s80 bow pvp and r99 bow, so, just wait till test get done.

what can i tell you for now on, is the fact that an a s80 bow with sa (lets say focus) + {pvp} have the same pvp damage bonus as a r/r95/r99 with double sa wich is 10%.

the fact that you actually see tyrrs/othells using s80 is because patak do not increase in a high amount the dmg that those classes can do, and also, its much more cheap to augment an a s/s80 low weapon than a r or higger grade, so, you can try with less adena to get pasive reflect or duel might augments (duel might gives an aditional 5% pvp bonus dmg for physical attacks). also, its cuz low s duals (tallum*dle) have a good sa for tyrrs, and s80 dagger have crit dmg.

actualy vesper sa pvp bonus is still 8,5%. and in some cases pvp gives 10% instead of 5% (for those who are willing to learn about i send to skilldata off scripts- it is so from very begining of {pvp}mod). also getting pvp might is cheaper in s80. with total 24,5~% bonus

and razz u talk about appeariance change. also doubt u tested it urself to check if u get rly 5% more or less especialy in pvp cases

only weaps worth keeping are daggers(unless u wana kill with regulars or u got amarantine pvp), in matter of rest clases in extreme cases some insane power skills(the more power the less p atk importance and more pvp bonus) could be better with s80 setup

and it is all about pvp, pve s80 has no point at all

+ pvp buff skills are kinda cool, 150 cast /+15% atk speed and range are nice. with dagger theres tinny chance u can cancel nobless. debuffs aint land

and nothing said i wrote is sure, it might be changed smwhere meanwhile. tough was 100% valid for h5 - not many things of general gameplay till 85 changed except engine and sm additions. tough experiments are required to ensure it

s80 with pvp and sa has more damage (pvp wise) than a r95 weapon without dual sa. you sure u compare under the same circumstances like attribute for example?

    1) 1sa+pvp = 10% pvp damage or 2sa r/r95 weapon
    2) both weapons got the same element?
    3) you do realise that stab damage is not stable or even close to stable?

cause then your char is broken since i own a r99 shaper +4 300 and my vesper is doing more damage

hey nhoze to quick answer your question: archers are not using s/s80 bows cause of the p.attack. they also count their damage on normal attacks cause let's admit it.. an archer with battle rhapsody and minds eye on is pretty deadly. skills will still do the same damage

s/s80 with sa and pvp = r/r95/r99 with 2x sa in skill damage

    p.attack doesn't influence skill damage.

so since i kept rapid shot, rapid fire will be better to play with s/s80 wep since ill use skills only

rapid fire? wich skill is that?. if u mean quick fire. it has nothing to do with you atk spd.

s80 weap sa+pvp+duelmight augment (pasive and/or active): higger damage with skill than r95/r99 double sa. (both 300 element).

r95/r99 double sa (or not): higger patak, wich mean higger critical damage on autoattack than s80, (both 300 element).

but, its just theorical i guess, so, wait till staff already make test about it.

edit: oh, miss read. if u kept rapàd fire from ms, then you dont learn me so yes, in that situation it worth to try out an a s80 bow with sa+pvp+augment.

2nd proff skill. he had snipe, pr dead eye, sr rapid fire.

    and for bows. well.
othels use s80 daggers with {pvp} for more pvp damage. since p.atk almost nothing changes for stabs more pvp dmg is good. for tyrrs. well. there was test in ncwest forums +15 {pvp} s80 duals is almsot equal +4 r99 with one sa.
same as daggers s80 dagger do +/- same damage as r99 with one sa. just cheaper to augment. it's like 50b gemstones or how much you need for s80 and 116 a for r99 :)

quick question, that range reduction, does it apply for skills also? or skills have fixed range that couldnt be lowered? my vote goes for second thing, which ****'s badly since yul use only skills in pvp and wont have any influence that range reduction.
