    hi there,

first of all, i didnt played since a lot of time, at this time you didnt had to choose yet your classes (titan, duelist, etc) as awakened tyrr so i missed a lot of things.

i would like to have some feedbacks about how tyrr's react in pvp as i look for more informations about tyrr(i'm 89 and duelist atm), i know that feoh and yul are prefered over tyrr but meh that's my class.

edit : i had to edit my post, it didnt reflect my real need, i dont want things like go to x but real feedbacks about your class.

    thanks

most tyrr's are unsatisfied with the class cause they expect to do dmg, while tyrr isnt a pure dd. it's merely a crowd controller/support dd, varying dmg and defense and crowd control capabilities betwen each of the tyr classes. since momentum is another requirement to do aditional dmg it can also be an hassle compared to the instant dmg from feoh/dagger.

you should ask something in more detail, im not sure what you want since you dont want to know about each in tyr in detail it seems..

my fault i didnt explained well enought, i want to know the feeling of each people about their tyrr warrior and their class, in order to have a better idea about how each class interact in a fight, and would be the one which i rather play.

l2wiki is fine about skills, but i need something more practical to make a great idea, like feedbacks.

well, i hope you get some feedback on this, however i dunno much tyrrs ingame and even less who browse forum, elronia or quinter could give some feedback, but i rly cant recal other tyrs that come to forum, besides myself but my experience with it on high end pvp is limited as the last time i had high end pvp with it was on naia during tauti times..can onyl give feedback as i am doing now as i reach 96.

i know a tyrr , he was tyrant from c3 to hi5 and made tyr on god, then tyr duelist on lindvior(always as an orc), and on ertheia he will change to ertheia wizard, even tho he never played a mage, cause he wishes to do dmg, and i can tell u hes very well geared (tauti, boss jewels, bilions of gear) and still seems not satisfied with the current tyr, many tyrrs share the same feeling of uselessness or unfulfillment due to their lineage 2 roots.

for my feedback, as i swaped to tyr dread, i am quite satisfied, it beats the summoner i used to play in terms of crowd control and aswell as survivility and that is quite enough for me as i always played tanky classes (shilen knight from c5 to hi5, spectral master from gracia to hi5 , both till now). i dont aim to kill, i aim to annoy the hell of that target, still hate the mana consumption tho and that is huge drawback cause u need to keep carrying the damn clarity talismans or life force. i prioritize hp and stun land above all, and as long as i got those to offer, it's pretty damn good..unless enemy chains purges and u get 9 sec stun on ur face from ridiculous reflects which makes ur task that much harder. i also prefer to fight on areas without mobs..that provoke is good dmg add for me but not when i pull the entire gf to trail on me :d

yes, but as i said it also depends on the class, a duelist can dish out the most number of skills on a certain time period, they burst easier than others but the eruption which enables ur ability to proper cc is the key to make u survive (skill interrupt) and mass disarm/knockdown are extras only used at key times to land that last blow u rly need or to buy time( u waiting for skill refresh or waiting enemy buff to wear off.

doombringer and warlord are the kings of cc hands down, i would always should these 2 as main tyrs for me, both of them can do dmg but u need to set it up, it comes only when u focus on it (and perhaps a lucky crit), db can do the biggest single skill dmg(pvp passive), warlord can nerf enemy resistance to himself so it's all about setting up a proper time to dish dmg while being able to defend ( through berserker/cc/giant barrier/self-heals).

however even if ur potential to deal dmg is from time to time or not in pair with other clases, u cannot hesitate to be agressive...tyrr must be rly agressive and make ppl fear him else ppl shrugh you off and wont even look at you during pvp and they must focus on you (dagger/nuker will assist you to do the dmg part) , you need to absorb dmg. also tyrrs can work as main assisters, which mean to give targets to ur party to kill. they can work with any class in party. for small pvp for example a warlord+summoner is a nightmare for anybody who cannot cleanse. in 7vs7 a tyrr would work better with daggers, stun spam from 3dds is serious business. archers also work ofc, due to armor destruction p def nerf since archer has no means to decrease p def and stun can help archer survive when they are focused.

depends..you mean s80 weapon right? i havent seen s80 on tyrs except for warlrod for awhile now, but since tyr mostly relies on pvp dmg the s80 offers that straight away with low costs. some s80 armor can be good vs mages due to the pvp passive.

btw what makes you want to go for db?

first of all, i forgot how much i used to like berserk gameplay with high mobility and pvp damage and just remembered how fail it was to play a class just for the damage^^ that i could leave at every moment just because i'm bored of it.

i see..another thing, while tyr db can do nice dmg due to pvp passive, it has more "downtime" cause duelist has 2 more skills with 10 seconds reuse, so it has less burst than duelist. also duals health+haste are still great option for pvp on db, while 2h sword haste+focus for pve.

i can only speak from my own experience about dn, but as far as i saw, the only other dn on the server, that's worth mentioning ( afro ) has probably kinda the same setup as mine. the build uses heavy crowd control ( depends on the jewels that you can get ) and strong survivability. the dn is the king of mass pvp ( read 50+ targets in 1 spot ) and the most useless dd in 7v7. there is no other class, that can jump attack in the middle of the 10+ incoming enemy force, stun half of them, disarm 1/3 of them and knockdown some others, then turn around and walk out of it alive ( even when not hero ). the new skill in ertheia update, which is mass cancel of at least 1 buff ( max 2 ) on an area around the dn,pretty much defines the role of a dn in mass pvp. you might eventually see your name in blue, while you're spamming aoe skills on cd in the middle of the enemy force, but that's not why you're there :) if you wanna do damage, or you wanna be stronk pvp 1v1 ( outside of olympiad ), you should probably go for duelist or for feoh:d
