can you guys give some advice for my feoh? i know retributer has more m.atak but with caster/buster + sigil 5% bonus m.atak and more p.def

i'd like you to tell me which you think the best choice is and why.

    this test should apply: http://boards.lineage2.com/showthread.php?t=248755

only thing you might consider besides m.atk is that sigil also gives p.def, buster can get 30% mp, which is good for oly (even with lowest m.atk from all 3), and a little bonus from +4 deppending on the weapon.

http://l2wiki.com/amaranthine_caster increases m. accuracy and m. critical damage when enchanted to +4.
http://l2wiki.com/amaranthine_retributer increases m. atk., m. critical damage, and casting spd. when enchanted to +4.
http://l2wiki.com/amaranthine_buster increases m. accuracy and m. critical rate when enchanted to +4.

the p def will just matter if the sigil is oe, other wise 50 p def isn't big deal. buster don't have the lowest m attack of all 3 lol, it's the same as the caster. and it isn't good for oly except if u can do some kind of rebirth cuz you gotta exchange weapons, so you lose the mp advantage. retributers have more 10% m attack than caster/sigil, so even with sigil it still 5% difference, and yet, retributer have 1% magic critical damage(same as caster), 1% casting speed and more m attack.

where the hell did u see that? if both are +12 and ret have +10% m attack, how it would give more?

imo i'd keep using retributer. ofc if u can get oe 1 handed mage weapon it can be better, but if not retributer is more than good since mages can jump with lower delay, most are necros(huge survival) and etc.

well, the 50 p.def on sigil will get boosted by buffs and other things, so in the end you should get +250 p.def or something with a +7-8 bless tw sigil, which isn't rly expensive to get. i can look later how much mine gives.
about buster on oly, since we are on feoh wizard section of the forum, the +30% mp is rly big if you consider [IMG]arcane barrier skill as one of the most important for feohs on oly.
and i said that buster gets the lowest m.atk from all 3 because almost everyone will choose acumen + empower, while buster doesn't have empower sa.

finally, if the test is correct, you should get more m.atk with +16 caster + sigil on feoh than +16 retributer, while the +4 retributer should have higher m.atk, compared to the +4 caster.

they start with a static difference of 10% (+-), as m atk of both weapons grows higher the difference in % becomes smaller and smaller, at high enchants, the 5% bonus is bigger than the initial difference in m atk ^^
