hey guys i am thinking of going for elemental summoner but i have some questions so if anyone that have played on classic ru server can answer it will be nice :)
    1. do summons get their masters buff or u have to buff them too?
2.what u need to summon them spirit ore or crystals?
    3.do servitors take any exp?
    4.are they needed in group?

i never played on old official l2 only tried when it became f2p for a month or so and few private servers nothing much... i want to experience the game from start and see the mmo that made so many ppl crazy with my own eyes :) if u can give any additional info on elemental summoner or any vid it would be nice^^

    1, yes
    2, spirit ore
    3, no
4, depends what you mean and which summon you intend on using! afaik elemental summoners party buff is clarity right? the summon is needed in low lvls to recharge the main for nukes. not sure late game though but summons are 2x the power of most chars

i think the fact that summons hit so hard is worth bearing in mind, also you have the low level heals for your party so cant be that bad? seems like a decent all rounder to me

summoners have one disadvantage here: there will be just way too many of them, so no hero for you (us)!

well since i am kind of new player i dont expect to go for hero and that update is far away i guess :p i just see es as a nice class... u lvl until 40 as mage after u get unicorn aoe dmg for farm and u can still dmg in pvp + the transfer pain,at later updates u become a nice support char and when u get magnus u become an aoe farm beast:p it seems like a pretty fun class to play u can do whatever u like
