i saw there was a steam group started and if innova does go live and plan on opening the server i believe them getting "greenlighted" on steam would be good for advertising and bringing in a lot more people to play. hope they see this and wonder if they have considered it an option.

i want lineage ii classic on steam. some people don't know this game and could like it, but tell them it is korean bashing style. if u put l2c on this sort of platform explain: "not for all, lineage ii is not similar to another mmorpg". because some players could join fast and leave two weeks later if they are not prepared.

its just a thought anything to bring more people into an mmo that really is the last of its kind when it come to open world and pvp plus the seiges i don't have and issue with and there are other mmos that are pay to play on steam that seem to be doing well.

i wish you could open l2 using steam. seems you can't with the web launcher. i'd like to be able to chat with friends while in-game without having to alt tab

it is a good idea there is some games with 100 and 200 votes who get greenlight on steam .. and they are a very bad games
i think lineage can make it easy to steam
btw there is over 100 million of ppl who using steam daily i am very sure that 99% of those dont even know what lineage is .
well even if it is greenlighted its up to innova team if they want to add it or not .

btw i played tera online a long time and it was dead when they added it on steam . it was like a magic happened + 30k players from nowhere :)

steam is the best advertising method out there .

i agree with this but guys, steam isn't free for the company who puts the game on it... steam takes its part of the money of course.

i'm 100% sure that putting your game on steam is not free. or in case of that being free, they take a % of all your gains through steam.

steam take a % commission of any game sold through their platform, i imagine it is a % of monthly subscription in the case of games which are free to download, either way it isn't free to put a game on steam - they are an absolutely massive advertising platform (service charge) and have costs too like bandwidth for the game dl, that said the sheer weight of exposure a game gets through steam should make the commission charge worth it.
