superior sigil mastery lv.1 - passive skill
increases int+2, and increases mp recovery bonus+20 and the power of healing skills increases by 40 when equipped with a sigil.

your sigil mastery...i think its obvious :)

shield...those who use shield since sigils are introduced are still think that the bonus def and shield def rate it gives matters but since you are a mage your pdef will still be low(ofc dominator is special case but you know). sigil gives much better bonus than what a shield gives especially in god where the shield def success rate is based on con so even with buffs you not going to get any successful shield defense.

yes true, i can see any difference with int (+2) but for healer sigil gives: increases mp recovery bonus+20 and the power of healing skills increases by 40 (and int+2)

tested a lot sigil and shield difference and for sure shield is more worth to use for pvp
yes even healer blocks with shields often incoming attacks especially archer ones

the +2 int is passive regarless a sigil is equiped or not. plus +20 mp per recharge when you basicaly have infinite mana and +40 heal power is a total ****... i prefer my shield since i'm always with knight harmony (and i actually block a lot with it, even with low con)

+1 mana isn t a problem anymore on this chronicle.
even if a shield bring nothing in pve it is better so far in pvp cause in this case sigil is just so useless.

and tanato i just loled :p most ppl from low rate private are better than retail full 3rd program ppl. and i come from retail ;)

base block chance is 20% con only increases this base chance , i dont remember how much block rate/power knight adds , but i think thats enough to choose shield than sigil.

i'd suggest sigil for pve and shield for pvp.
also, i think the +20 mana is actually a % to your mana regen, and not for recharge (instead of 10/tick, you get 12/tick).
also #2, (as stated above) base block rate is à—3 against archer attacks. if working correctly.

even if shield block succes rate is 5% (and it`s not) it`s still better than useless sigil in pvp. the only reason to use sigil is when u are mage ang go pve since it have small mattack bonus that can make a diffrence in 1shoting mobs, otherwise use shield. healer sigil bonuss is just **** since infinite mana in god, same as 40 power on heals lol.
