    hi everyone,for short,i wanna just advertise you about soulshot lags,so some people,if they are new here,could choose another server. i wanted to tell that in weekends all weekend lag ss non stop. from monday - friday lags in the evening. can play only at night. so,first think about it,and then just start to play here. becouse my patient is short. i died a lot of times,just becouse soulshots were lagged. so choose carefully.

    i'm starting to think that they will never fix the ss lag =s. i already lost 2 weeks of pa that i will never get back

    maybe all ho have pa have too go and git ther money back becaus you dont git for what you pay only lag all time ss lags

    maybe than innova gone do somting if the see how much player gone mass whit them if the dont give us what the tell

    i must agree with everyone its impossible to play


    that is not true. they didnt say when. that post about fixing lags was made three weeks ago... after then lags began

    there were responses where they said that we need to wait, or you expecting that they will post it every day?

    ss lag started when they put on "christmas event". event ends on tuesday. so hopefully - ss lag will end too.

    pff they should make server cap . ppl with pa have should log without any problems . this solution should solved ss lag.

    they own me one month of pa so far since this game is unplayable

    and soon there will be other drama since everything is lagging so much and its so easy to exploit

    some engineers, tgms and part of frost team are working in holidays too.
    but nc patch and decision is needed too for ss lags fixing.

    im pretty sure you don't even know what ss lag is. how is it possible that whole server has item lag because of overweight of massive connections and then only you don't feel any ss lag?

    ofcourse that doesn't mean if you play in morning and around noon. but go ahead and log in later at evening and try droping 1 adena on floor. how long will it take to drop it?

    my guess is they need to upgrade disk write/read speed as it doesn't keep up with the server communicating with sql database. if it was lag from connection or something else then evrytihng would lag(moving,talking,teleporting)

    ss, npc dialogs and some other gameplay elements working through it's own server-queue with own priority. but the latest nc patches (as i know) strongly changes this behavior, so we have laggy queue in prime...
    i/o operations and database connectivity is not the issue in this case.

    how come that servers on ncwest don't lag when being at cap? we're sharing same patches, even if eu has them earlier it still should be the same if it's server software issue. that's actually interesting since we're almost 2 big patches behind koreans so how could they not notice that problem before if it was changed in god?

    i'm not sure about it as you, arcain.

    it's not client side issue, so we can't talk directly about "same patches". sometimes innova team receives from nc "same" patches for ru and eu servers, but on eu they are working properly and on ru they are broken at all =( it's always very-very hard work for innova qa group. it's strange for the "same patches", don't you think so?.

    in my opinion nc "don't notice" many things (as nwindow buggy init-code, old-old crest.utx or l2compiledshader.bin issues, or even security holes both client and server sides and many-many others...). i really don't know the reason, but it's still happens. but i'm sure if it's a hardware bug or server's configuration fault - innova will fix it, and if it's really nc bug - innova will working with them to resolve this problem as fast as possible.

    i was refering to eu and na servers only. from what i see from changelog and the changes users noticed, we're getting same patches (except events). na has them usualy 2 weeks later, like that mobs lvl problem for example. if there's something broken with the patch innova got for eu servers, na users should feel it's effects currently. so far, there's not much complaints about it there. intead they have login servers issues quite often ;p
    ru servers might be ahead like they always were before ncwest so they can face new, different issues. i might be wrong of course ;-)

    they could notice it, but they're also rushing with updates way faster. there's tauti coming there, yet we're still waiting for harmony. it's kinda weird in my oppinion to release patches for game that's 2 stages behing and for issues that probably were fixed in one of the patches they're using on their servers. never understood the point of keeping different versions here and there.

    the worse thing about it, is there was not a single answer about those delays before last thursday if i'm correct. we, as players, were suffering at evenings for about 2 weeks straight and even if any gm did wrote something at forums, they completely skipped that topic. i'm pretty sure that if there was some explanation even a week earlier, players would be more forgiving. current way of communications or lack of communication between players and innova staff is unacceptable and breaks the first impression they made at launch. after all, we'll still about to see how and when that problem will be solved, hopefully as soon as possible and once and for all.
