    Hello,

I have new account, because I wanted to try the Classic with my husband who has played the game before the way it used to be. We don't usually pay for games now - though he used to play L2 in the old day and really liked it. But now I have run into a few questions about how the security functions work in this game.

1.First of all - I do not have a mobile phone. I can't give my husbands number - as it would be for his account. I would provide a number definitely if I had one. So what can I do?
    2. Secondly it seems to want to tie the account to a computer - I know licensed programs do that to prevent unauthorized copies. I figure that is some kind of link to internal build or address or what ever about this specific computer. But I do have two computers and will use the other if this is not available. Well like two weeks ago when this one had major issues with the SSD. (And again - we get back to the fact that I do not have a mobile phone, so I will not be able to use such for verification of change of computer.. just lol - how complicated playing a game has to really be.) What if I need to change my computer of usage for few days or log in from another country, given that I am from a different place than I live at now?
    3. Third question has two parts: a) Will there be some issue about the fact that my bank is in a different country than my location - I have recently just moved from my home of origin to my husbands country? b) More specifically: If I would want to pay for my and my husbands test of the classic with my bank card - given that my bank does not make me wait for days to start with - and we both want just a 10€ test - will it give us grief if I will try to add money on his account with my card?

You must have a mobile number in any way....
No problem with this, but again you gotta have mobile phone to get SMS about registring new Trusted PC
    a) If it is still in EU region and accepted anywhere - should be no problem
    b) answer is the same

It is a necessary security option

You can use it only for the first SMS and then change it to email notification in your profile on the site

Well I do feel a bit like people are treating me as a fool. I asked because I DO NOT have a mobile phone and wanted to know if there is an other way to verify or get the password in case it will be lost. Thanks for answer anyways. And yes I seen someone say the phone is not necessary. I suppose people expect most have one. I used to have, but now I only need the landline and do not care to pay for extra services like that. So what is so laughable in wanting to know if there is an other way to verify or generally get ones password back if its lost? I find it actually bit troll -like to start picking about some post because you think you know everything.. obviously, given that you feel a need to explain to me it is a security feature. I get that - so who is the fool now? You really did not hit the point there did you? Could actually ask your comment to be removed..
