    Disclaimer:
I realize this is not the correct place for this thread, but it's the best I could muster. The only other suitable candidate was "Talk to Moderators" but it was in Russian so.. yeah.

    Hello,

I would like to know how (if it's possible) can I disable or mark a certain thread or subforum in a way that it will not generate new unread posts i.e. keep it "constantly read".

For example - I have found a clan and the Recruitment Section is no longer of interest for me. But whenever somebody posts in there, it naturally marks the "General Section" as containing unread messages.

    Cheers.

I think you must Unwatch the thread. It is located on the right side of the screen, right above the messages

Unwatching the thread only stops notifications (Alerts) being generated for that thread.

That is very strange. I'm not getting alerts about forum sections, but only threads

My problem is not with alerts. I want to stop threads and/or subforums from being flagged as "contains unread messages"
