will Lineage2 performance increase if to switch "SSD OCZ Vector 128" to "SSD Samsung 950 PRO MZ-V5P256BW 2.5'' 256GB". I know i need another motherboard, but if anyone had experience or knowledge about it, please share your thoughts.

You can see difference by moving from HDD to SSD for sure... but i am sure that you wont feel any difference by moving from an SSD to another one.

    All these SSDs are old.

I have Intel 535 240 GB and performance increase great compering to my raid 0 (2x WD BLUE 1TB).

I dont own the video but almost same result with me

Try to run crystal disk mark 5 and if you under ~350 MB/s maybe you see difference when you buy a new SSD

disk with performace 350 mb/sec on SEQ test? which drive you must throw out the window

All modern drives offer performance ~500 mb/sec on SEQ test

but for lineage2 we need to look 4k read test

It depends a lot on your hardware, can be better or worse....but is not cheap

With that hardware you are able to improve your performance just like me, or similar, but this doesnt means directly that you will get a big difference inside the game.

You have to identify your bottleneck, once you identify that, you can do things to improve your performance, and the bottleneck will go to other part of your computer as next step.

This thread is talking about read/write on disk, how fast you can read data from your lineage 2 client. So, if you still want to test this improvement, I can share my knowledge with you.
