DYE for ISS

    can anyone tell me what dyes best for iss atm? first of all for pve and what worth it, not like 1 dye for 100kk. thx.

    +5str -4dex +15fire(40-50m per set) is the best option for both pve-pvp.if you are short of cash take the +4str-3dex +10fire.look also in yul thread ,its pretty much the same for iss.

    always wondered why iss want to make damages, it's better for then to survive, stick on assist heal/managing debuff. and for debuff to land, there is no need of p.atk or m.atk so, why the iss doesn't go all the way to +con/heavy defense type armor/1hand weapon/shield ? and an iss that stay in the middle of monsters is a good help for the healer for progressive heal.
    but maybe people prefer to die, stick on 2hand and try to make damage, along with yelling at everybody that close range fighter are glass canon that can't survive (but hey, witehout iss helping and literally fleeing the heals ...)

    because iss don't have single weapon / shield mastery, because debuffs land rate is influenced by str/int. if u don't believe me, take a c grade weapon and try to debuff smtg on your lvl :). in middle of monsters u have tank, iss usually is assisting the ma for debuffs and runs away from mobs when situation svcks. iss is not tank and not healer, is heal assist and buffer/debuffer. that's why u need to make a balance between pdef/mdef and patk/matk.

    ok, so i think you even don't understand what yourself have write.
    even without single weapon/sheild mastery, you get same p.atk/m.atk than with dual weapon, or almost. it's no more, since god the main part of your damage.
    if your debuff are only influenced by str/int then the second part of what you write is pointless, even with c grade, debuff will get the same landrate.
    in the middle of monsters you should have iss, because of progressive heal and you'll effectivelly serve as heal assist (healer target you and tank got 40% heals hp, and yourself got a 35% heal that requires you to be close from tank, everytime you go away from tank, you make your party svck).
    the 2 major things that makes your debuff to effectivelly lands is the level of your weapon (r grade+) and your relative lvl difference to your target, then str/int (at a really minor part) and even lower parts your p.atk/m.atk regarding the p.def/m.def of your target. so you have to be resistant to not fear yourself and worry about stuns/mez/shocks/loosing half your hp in 1 hit. that's why you need 1h weapon, sheild and defence oriented armor, dyes are bonus and the main str/int income will come from accessory.
    actually as a tank i can tell you the 2 things that makes a party fail is iss fleeing away from tank and stay afk.

    if u will have good healer there will be no need for iss to heal if your healer svkcs then even with iss heals u will die simple as that.

    not a good answer to that i say in my post : i said that if the healer can't rely on somebody in the melee of monsters beside the tank, he can't properly heal the tank. it's not a healer problem nor a tank one but an iss/tyr/othell problem. and the more oriented, the one that is actually given more tool to not flee the melee, is the iss, not othell nor the tyr. fact.

    even at pvp that set up isnt that bad.
    ive played with brume in some "random" pt and i belive he knows what he is talking about.
    myslef i play iss (not wannabe iss like 95% of server) and i go for con.

    passive / enchantable learn lv. 85

    when a dual sword or dual blunt weapon is equipped, increases p. atk. by 235, m. atk. by 104, and atk. spd. by 10%. there is a chance of increasing physical skill power and critical rate when attacking. additionally, there is a chance the re-use time of skills will reset or the duration double depending on your str.

    so u have bonus from duals but no bonus from single+shield. from shield u don't get pdef increase only chance to block attacks, but even so u sustain that no bonus is better that bonus. debufs land rate are influenced by matk/patk. in case u didn't know str = patk, int=matk => higher the weapon grade+higher str/int means a better chance to land debuffs. and if u need iss near tank so tank can get better heal, that means your healer and your tank rly svck. and healer assist doesn't mean i have to stay near the tank or any other player so he can get heal.... radiant heal gives hp to 10 most injured targets on radius of caster. if i am full hp and tank is half i won't influence in any way the hp amount he gets. heal assist means i have a lol ress skill and a lol heal skill, and i am supposed to use them when situation rly rly svcks. that -30% pdef/patk that mobs take from my debuffs are way more important that the amount of heal i give (assuming u have real dd in pty so they can make damage on debuffed targets)

    the stats you get from dual are just ridicoulous compared to real dd's. othell and tyr got more than 10k p.atk, i don't tell about yull or sumoner, or even feoh because you will surelly be mad. talking about the other lol bonus you can trigger on with dual ... every real dd's are capped in crit and atk speed (wich render in most case the daring sonata useless from lvl 92 for every classes, it's more a malus than a bonus). not to mention that the stats you get from 1h and 2h weapons are more important than any other and basically the same so, between a 1h or dual sword, there is a difference for less than 7% base atk (m or p). but the difference in hp pool/defence abilities is just as huge as it's more valuable to go with setting 1h/shield than dual/2h weapons.

    and you forget a huge and the main healing trick of the game : the progressive heal from healer that needs a target right next to the tank. you're not assisting your healer and your pt if you flee away from melee. but hey, right, i'm non factor, clanless and i don't know what is to take damage nor tanking and i can't analyze reasons for why the pt is failing :>

    i dont understand why the f*** u want to make iss healer if iss will do all healer work what will aeore do?neither i understand your 1h weapon shield tactic. during 7 months of playing here i haven't seen a single iss runing with that setup nor read on any l2 forum ncwest goha.ru l2guru ..........................

    @brume if i look at your signature i see... "core othell rogue 89/sigel knight 89/elemental sumoner 80/eva's saint 80" so i wonder from where you have all these pr0 ideeas regarding iss class. i am not saying iss is a dd i just said that iss needs patk for debuffs, and that duals weapons have a bonus but single and shield don't give any bonus at all. on duals i have 123 patk more, add bonus from mastery and +str from dyes and voila... enough patk so i have a chance to land any debuff. with single weapon, lower patk, no bonus but i will have a shield with no mastery for it so chance to block attacks will be rly low. and believe it or not i know all other classes attack power and skills even if i don't play on them. and i am always near the tank but not to assist my healer, i am there cause i have to debuff mobs. mby u didn't noticed that on iss all debuffs are physical skills, so no range attacks, so i have to be near mobs. and afterall play your box iss as u want and make what setup u consider appropriate on him, but till now i didn't saw any iss on this server or in any other server or in any fraps with your pr0 setup, so i assume u don't use it either, u just post here because of boredom.

    everytime i am tanking, i am not dying because i've lost the aggro and some monsters goes on my healer or dd's, but because dd's and iss are taking too much ae damages that are not "well" healed and makes them flee away, if they flee from me, healer or iss can always try to put a panic heal, they will never save me, and pt wipe. that's why i have such ideas on what fits the pt and what fits the iss.

    then your healer have a problem :) with the present setup i don't have any problems standing up against mobs. and i have set on attack and duals with haste.

    yeah i know but i have rapso for 30 secs every 10 mins and i am used to play active on iss (debuffs/lol-damage) so i considered i need this haste. beeing the fact that at 95 lvl solo grinding is non-existent i have choose defense on set and i'm gonna buy +4 s grade duals for cp/hp/mp bonus. in case i'm gonna need higher patk i will just equip duals with haste. another option would be to loose +3 con from dyes and replace with str (tw set is set on attack so i have +2 con from it, seraph set on defense gives+3 con but -2 str) so i can keep patk on same lvl, solving the cp/hp problem with +4 s grade duals, but this option i have to consider in time (playing with dyes is kinda expensive :) )

    whats a diffrence on lv 95+ between s 4+ duals and r95+ 4+ duals p.atk?
    is it rly so practical to change ?
    i can agree when ur making some solo instances,but during active pvp/pve?i rly would stick to 1 weapon imo.
    and also with 4+ s duals dbuffs chance is so much lower than r95+ at pvp and pve?
    bcoz if u cant dbuff at pvp or pve with s grade ur just a buffer and progresive healer.
